{Yuki}
(flies towards a sweating girl)
“Nika!”
{Nika}
“Welcome back!”
{Haru}
“Oh! I didn’t expect you’ll be back home already.”
{Nika}
“Uhmm… When you left, the shopkeeper kept me company until his assistant came back. She actually helped me to get back home. Oh! Don’t go up just yet, I’m still packing up my stuff and my room is a mess.”
{Calabolt}
(sighs)
“If you only had seen the state of Yuki’s house… It can’t be compared in any way.”
{Haru}
“Agreed.”
{Yuki}
(glares at the two and sweetly flies towards Nika)
“Assistant? I didn’t know Creepykeeper-san had one.”
{Nika}
“Yeah. I was surprised too. She is a bit… odd.”
{Haru}
(nervously sweats)
“Knowing him, his company would surely employ a colourful cast of characters.”
{Nika}
(coughs)
“Yes, well. So, did you find the key?”
(Haru and Calabolt bows their heads)
{Nika}
“Huh? What happened over there?”
{Calabolt}
“Well… We got a little sidetracked…”
(the group tells Nika about what happened earlier)
{Haru}
“So in the end, we agreed to check back in the house. Yuki might have misplaced it somewhere around here. We’re very sorry, Nika.”
{Nika}
“It’s fine. You all did your best. That’s all that matters.”
(Nika hugs Yuki and Haru)
{Nika}
(looking at Calabolt)
“Come! Join us!”
{Calabolt}
(moves closer to everyone)
“Oh. Ok. But…”
(Nika hugs them longingly)
{Nika}
“Hmmm?”
{Calabolt}
(looks at the pile of boxes)
“Well… From the looks of it, we’ll be having a hard time looking for the key here too…”
{Haru}
(coughs)
“We did survive Yuki’s dust palace, this is nothing compared to that.”
{Yuki}
“Hey!”
(the group laughs as Yuki throws a tantrum)
{Haru}
(placing his wings on his orb to muffle Yuki’s screams)
“Ughh… Not this again.”
(Yuki-chama chirps seemingly wanting everyone’s attention)
{Yuki}
(breaks from Nika’s warm hug)
“Wait! Did you guys hear that?”
{Haru}
“What now?”
{Nika}
(breaking her grasp)
“Oh! That’s just Yuki-chama. He’s been like that ever since I got home and started packing up.”
{Yuki}
“Hmmm? It sounds like he’s asking for something.”
{Nika}
“Well, I was about to check upon him. He probably wants his iced-water.”
(the group follows Nika to Yuki-chama’s cage)
{Nika}
“Ooof. It seems he is tangled in some kind of rope. Yuki, would you mind helping me get it off his neck?”
{Yuki}
“Oh sure, Nika! Oofmph! The other end of this string is really heavy.”
{Haru}
(looks closer)
“It might be stuck under something.”
(a minute passed and they finally get the piece of string off of the bird)
{Nika}
(gently placing Yuki-chama on his swing)
“Well, that takes care of that.”
{Yuki}
(fiercely tugging)
“Uhmmm… But the stupid string is still not budging!”
{Calabolt}
“Let me help.”
(Yuki nods and lets Calabolt hold the string)
{Calabolt}
“Ok. Here goes nothing.”
(Calabolt delicately searches for the other end of the string and skillfully dislodges a metallic object stuck in between the bars at the bottom of Yuki-chama’s cage)
{Yuki}
“Eeww. Bad birdie! You covered it in poopie!”
(Haru and Nika moves away in disgust)
{Haru}
“What is this thing anyway? Just throw it out!”
{Calabolt}
“I-I dunno. But it did feel hard like some sort of… Ughh… Metal.”
{Yuki}
“Hmmm… Let me see that.”
(Calabolt tries to stay calm, takes the bird poop-covered object, and brings it to the sink)
{Yuki}
(sees the metal shine as the hot water flows on it)
“Oooh! Shiny!”
{Haru}
“But isn’t that…”
(Haru felt a slight breeze behind him)
{???}
“Oh! It seems you found it right on time, dearies!”
{Haru}
(quickly looks behind)
“Aaaack! WILL YOU STOP DOING THAT!!!”
{Shopkeeper}
“I’m sorry dearies. I just had to know whether or not you had completed your objective. I…”
(a large broom brutally hits the Shopkeeper’s head)
{???}
“What have I told you about minding your manners?!”
(the group was left stunned as a small petite girl appeared from behind the Shopkeeper)
